Kendra Crighton, RYT

Kendra, a certified yoga instructor and former journalist/documentary filmmaker, earned her 200-hour certification from Ma Yoga and Wellness in Victoria, BC in 2022 and holds a 30-hour trauma-informed teaching certification from Yoga Outreach. With a unique blend of storytelling and wellness, she combines her journalistic experience of five years and nearly a decade of personal practice to emphasize the power of community and its impact on individuals. Beyond yoga, she currently works at Cedars Recovery in Cobble Hill while pursuing a Master’s degree in counselling to further promote unity and positive transformation.

Mitch Knippelberg, RCC

Mitch was born and raised in the Cowichan Valley, BC, on Vancouver Island. At 16 his life took a turn when an illness cascaded into a series of medical events, resulting in a diagnosis of myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). To this day he dedicates his time to seeking wellness in all aspects of health, with the hope that he can share and apply his learnings in his counselling practice. Driven by the personal understanding that genuine connections and support play a significant role in progress, he is committed to guiding individuals through their own paths of growth and healing.
